MeepCity’s activity dropped after the removal of Custom Avatars and Bios.
The game went from averaging around 5,000 daily players to about 800. These features gave players freedom to express themselves and personalize their characters, which kept the community active. However, they also created opportunities for predators to exploit the system, which raised major safety concerns. Their removal reduced harmful activity but at the same time stripped away a core element of creativity that many players valued.
